Hugo Awards: "Redshirts", de John Scalzi", vence prémio na categoria "Best Novel"

Redshirts: A Novel with Three Codas, do norte-americano John Scalzi, venceu o Prémio Hugo na categoria "Best Novel". A cerimónia de entrega dos mais prestigiados prémios do Fantástico decorreu na passada madrugada na LoneStarCon 3 (Worldcon), em San Antonio, no Texas, e contou com Paul Cornell como apresentador. Entre os vencedores nas várias categorias figuram Brandon Sanderson, Pat Cadigan, Ken Liu, The Avengers, Game of Thrones (com George R. R. Martin a receber o prémio pelo episódio "Blackwater", da segunda temporada), Brian K. Vaughn e muitos outros. A (espectacular) base do troféu deste ano foi desenhada e esculpida em bronze por Vincent Villafranca, natural do estado do Texas.
