Atribuídos desde 1975 na World Fantasy Convention, os World Fantasy Awards distinguem anualmente a melhor fantasia literária publicada no ano transacto - e os finalistas da edição de 2014 já são conhecidos. Os vencedores serão conhecidos no último dia da convenção, que neste ano terá lugar de 6 a 9 de Novembro em Washington, D.C.. Para além das nomeações por categoria (ver abaixo), são já conhecidas as vencedoras deste ano do Life Achievement Award: a escritora Chelsea Quinn Yabro e a editora Ellen Datlow.
